Michele Apriña Leavy
Actor

Michele is a longstanding Resident Artist having joined the company in 2005. An actor, dancer, choreographer, she has developed and premiered many roles with Crowded Fire. She also serves on the company’s Literary Committee. Selected Bay Area Theater Credits include: (American Conservatory Theater) Les Liaison Dangereuses, (Berkeley Repertory Theatre) The Laramie Project, (BRAVA Theater Center) Ghost Limb, (California Shakespeare Theater) Quixote Nuevo, (California Conservatory Theater) The Rainmaker, The Turn of the Screw, (Center Repertory Company) A Christmas Carol. Other collaborators include: Marin Theatre Company, Bay Area Playwrights Festival, and TheatreWorks. In farther locales, she has appeared with (Theatre Key West) The Lemon Cookie (Florida), (The Elephant Theatre Company) The Insanity of Mary Girard (Los Angeles), and (Theatre 167) 167 Tongues, The Jackson Heights Trilogy (New York City). Michele is a teaching artist with various colleges, universities, and conservatory programs around the bay and beyond. In addition, Michele serves as a member of the national organization, the Latinx Theater Commons’ Steering Committee.
