Artist Programs & Initiatives

We at Crowded Fire recognize it is essential to cultivate a thriving theater ecosystem by investing in and uplifting theatre-makers and administrators of all kinds, at all points in their careers. CFT is honored to offer the following programs to support the sustainability and growth of individual artists and future leaders.

A two-day intensive for actors to develop audition strategy, polish their materials, and build professional relationships with casting directors.

A three-session intensive guiding actors and creators through generating and developing an original 3–5 minute solo work.

CFT periodically offers additional workshops and professional development opportunities. Check back for upcoming programming.

Launched in 2016, the Ignite Fund supports the growth of Bay Area theater designers and technicians through grants for professional development, tools, equipment, and training.
