PATRON SAFETY

Humans > Art.

That feels like a radical statement for an arts organization to make, but it shouldn’t be: the health and safety of our patrons, performers, crew and staff comes before anything.

What does that mean?

  • We may cancel a show or reading. If a crew member is sick, or if it feels for any reason unsafe to proceed, we will cancel a performance. We’ll make every attempt to switch your ticket to another date, provide a video option, or offer a credit for another Crowded Fire production or reading.
  • Crowded fire has a fully vaccinated staff. However, due to the complexity of boosters and a scarcity of new information, proof of vaccination is no longer a requirement for patrons to enter our spaces.
  • The best way to keep our actors safe is for all of us to wear masks; masks are strongly encouraged in the theater at all performances.
  • We will continue to prioritize accessibility. Our small staff has been turning our attention to in-person programming, but we will continue to offer streaming options whenever possible and ongoing virtual programming.
  • Mental health is also health. Take care of your mind as well as your body — if your showtime comes and you just can’t quite step inside, no worries, we’ll switch your ticket or get you a video option, no questions asked.

DISCOUNTS & AFFORDABLE TICKET OPTIONS

Crowded Fire believes that everyone should have access to amazing art!

We want to be transparent about how much theater costs–please pay what you are able!–but ticket price shouldn’t keep you from coming out. Our standard ticket prices for our mainstage productions vary from $20 (community price) to $95 (true cost); however, we’re happy to offer a number of options to ensure all community members are able to attend our shows!

  • All Previews = Pay-What-You-Can (PWYC)! (Online purchase minimum $5) Walk-up tickets also available — email our Box Office to check availability the day before the performance.
  • No one turned away for lack of funds (NOTAFLOF)! If the community ticket is out of reach for you right now, please reach out to our Box Office to receive a NOTAFLOF ticket. Alternatively, you can arrive 30 minutes before any given performance and request a pay-what-you-can ticket from our box office representative. (We try to keep at least 6 tickets available for walk-ins!)
  • We are proud to be a Blue Star TheaterCrowded Fire thanks those in our community who have served to protect our livelihoods. In thanks for your service, we offer active duty military personnel and veterans a buy-one-get-one (BOGO) ticket deal for any of our productions. Contact BoxOffice [AT] CrowdedFire.org to make your Blue Star ticket reservation.
