Crowded Fire is devoted to difficult art

Adopt an Artist
Heather Basarab

Heather Basarab

I really dig teaching, and I'm having a blast with my students.
However, leaving the campus is fun, too. It allows me to re-charge creatively and stay on top of professional theater.

My personal goal is to keep doing professional designs on plays that feed my soul outside of teaching. Crowded Fire fulfills that need with the added bonus of working with other talented ensemble members who have become friends over the years.

You can catch my work next season in The Listener and My Name is Vera Cupido. As long as Crowded Fire is financially healthy, I have a place to design and be creative in a great environment.

Adopt me! When you make a donation today it goes directly to projects I'm working on next year.
